Sight: It has an attractive red color with purplish gleam.
Nose: Aromas that remind of mature cherries, plums and morello cherries.
Mouth: In the mouth it is nice, with velvety tannins, well-bodied and persistent.
Vat: Grapes are received in the winepress and once they are destemmed they are sent to small containers.
Alcoholic fermentation: When cold maceration is over, specific yeast for Malbec are added and it ferments at an average temperature of 27ºC for 10 – 15 days.
Maceration: When alcoholic fermentation is over, it remains on its lees to obtain more concentration.
Winery aging: 18 months
Total acidity: 5.2 g/l
Reducing sugar: 2.12 g/l
Service temperature: 61°F
Pairings: It is good to accompany the typical Argentinean asado (barbecue), it can also be enjoyed with stew, pasta, empanadas and locro (beef or pork stew with potatoes and corn).
In Mapuche language, Mapú means “land or ground”, and Curá means “stone”. We choose this name, “land of stones”", to refer to the arid but generous grounds of Mendoza that bring our most outstanding wines to life.
