Sight: Exceptional purple color.
Nose: In the nose, the aromas are dominated by red plums, morello cherries, figs, dried apricots and a delicate perfume of violets. All this is harmonized with its oak ageing, which grants it elegant notes of vanilla, chocolate, toast and caramel.
Mouth: This is a full-bodied wine of great structure and concentration. Its excellent balance between acidity and rounded ripe tannins results in a wine with personality. It has a pleasant and lingering finish.

For the production of this great wine, Finca El Origen owns exceptional vineyards in the Uco Valley, in Fundo La Esperanza, at the foot of the Andes Mountains, 3.000 feet asl. The Uco Valley sub appellation is one of the most promising wine regions within the Mendoza province; this area lies southeast of the regional capital. The medium to low fertility soils are very permeable and well drained. The climate is temperate despite the great day/ night temperature differentials due to the altitude. The vineyards are also naturally healthy, thanks to the warm, dry breezes that blow throughout the vineyard’s spring and summer growth cycle.
