Wines

VIÑAS DE ALTO SALVADOR CABERNET SAUVIGNON ORGANICO

Grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon 100%
Sight: Red ruby color, clean and bright with black flashes.
Nose: Notes of red and black fruit, with aromas of pepper and spices. Great complexity.
Mouth: Very good entry of mouth, harmonious, smooth with soft marked but soft tannins. Big structure.

VIÑAS DE ALTO SALVADOR SANGIOVESE ORGANICO 2011

Grape variety: Sangiovese 100%
Sight: Intense red color, purple, clear and bright with black flashes.
Nose: Notes of red fruit, floral and spicy aromas of great complexity.
Mouth: Very good entry, harmonious, smooth with soft, sweet tannins and great complexity.

VIÑAS DE ALTO SALVADOR TEMPRANILLO ORGANICO 2011

Grape variety: Tempranillo 100%
Sight: Bright red, clean and bright with black flashes.
Nose: Notes of black fruit, with aromas of spice, fig and plum jam, highly complex.
Mouth: Good entry, harmonious, unctous, firm but sweet tannins. Long finish.

About us

For twenty years Viñas de Alto Salvador S.A., has been growing its vineyards and wines under organic principles.
The winery, the administration area and facilities lie over 3 hectares, in 'Finca La Sede'. This estate and 'Finca Doña Cristina' boast 20 to 50-year-old vineyards, with anti-hail nets, which are cultivated with imported grape varieties and the best Argentine clones, yielding Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Sangiovese and Syrah grapes, that the winery produces.

The company secures the health of its vineyards by means of biological control and prevention. It never uses herbicides, pesticides, insecticides or any toxic or polluting product. Besides, it irrigates and fertilizes the soil only with pure water and organic fertilizers.
Organic wines encompass the same features of conventional wines, but they are made only from organic grapes, under the principles and methods of the organic winemaking, without yeast or enzymes coming from bioengineering, chemical or synthetic products to clarify, stabilize and to preserve the wines. Throughout the whole process - internationally certified by Argencert S.A.- no artificial or toxic substance is used.
