Sight: A 10-year old wine exhibiting an intense and deep color with purplish hues.
Nose: It offers a complex nose, combined with red and black fruits, spices, and caramel.
Mouth: It is perceived with a good concentration, volume, and tannins granting a good balance on the palate and a persistent finish.

About us

VIDA. Dar Vida; Oscar Marcovecchio, owner and author of Viñavida, is a creative businessman who, since he was a young, has combined his training trips (advertising) with other passion (haute cuisine and top wines). Results: 108 trips to wine regions.

VIDA. Dar Vida; when he was 18 years old, he founded “Marcovecchio Publicidad”, which was in sixth place of the Argentine ranking in 1998. It was the right time to leave the business, after being appointed “Advertising executive of the 2000s” by the prestigious Konex foundation.

VIDA. Dar Vida; in 2002, in the 2nd part of his life, he toured the Uco Valley during 6 months and invested in 5 estates, a favorable period of low prices.

VIDA. Dar Vida; in 2003, he incorporated a technical dream team, which analyzed each square meter of the 100-hundred terroir located in Vista Flores, opposite Vines of Mendoza and in front of Clos 7.

VIDA. Dar Vida; in 2004, he created an own microclimate in the terroir, planting 200,000 roses, dozens of trees, aromatic plants, and incorporating dust from rocks in the fertilization. All this is reflected today in the high quality of its 700-800 thousands kilos harvested every year. Of this production, 10% is used to make the winery’s Luxury Viñavida Wines, and 90% is sold to 6 leading and highly-recognized brands.

VIDA. Dar Vida; in 2005 and considering the global trend, the company incorporated differential grape varieties. As a “deal with sun”, PACIMAS (Circular-shaped Plots) were planted so as to ripen, in a uniform way, its Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc.

VIDA.Dar Vida; in 2012-2014 the company started to see results: Viñavida Luxury Wines have been recognized in different wine contests, among them, Malbec al Mundo, Decanter, Sub 30, Six Nations, Vinalies, Argentina Wine Awards, NY Finger Lakes, Vinandino, VDL, La Mujer Elije, Terravino, USA Tasters Guild, Pocket Wine Guide by Hug`s Johnson, and the Special Argentina Report 2014 by Tim Atkin, who included Viñavida in his “Top 25 New Wineries To Watch”.
