Urraca Wines awarded in Hong Kong

After recognition in London, URRACA WINES unique wines of Argentina rewarded with multiple medals in Hong Kong.
This time the wines were recognized:
Urraca Chardonnay 2013 (Plata)
Urraca Primera Reserva 2008 (Silver)
Urraca Familia Langley Gran Reserva 2008 (Bronze)
While also those recognized is perfect for pairing with Asian food. Here the winners were:

Urraca’s wine awarded a Bronze Medal in China

Urraca´s Familia Langley Gran Reserva 2008 was distinguished at the Shanghai International Wine and Spirit Show 2014 (SIWC).
The SIWC contest, carried out since 2011, was organized by the China International Trade Promotion Committee and the Shanghai Waigaoqiao International Trade Center.
The judging panel was made up of renowned winemakers from Australia, South Africa, China, Chile, England, [...]


Wines

Urraca Chardonnay 2013

Grape variety: Chardonnay 100%
Sight: it exhibits a bright golden yellow color with greenish hues
Nose: on the nose, it is a fresh wine with an intense presence of fruit aromas
Mouth: in the mouth, it is a pleasant varietal with balanced acidity

Urraca Familia Langley Reserva 2007

Grape variety: Merlot 50% - Malbec 30% - Cabernet Sauvignon 20%
Sight: this is a wine of strong tannins that then will become more harmonious and sweet
Nose: complex aromas of red fruits, such as raspberry and blackberry
Mouth: on the palate, it is perceived as a good-structured and harmonious wine of delicate presence that offers round tannins and a long finish

Urraca Malbec 2009

Grape variety: Malbec 100%
Sight:
Nose: on the nose, it expresses toast, incense and black cherry aromas
Mouth: on the palate, this wine is slightly less concentrated than the Cabernet, but well-balanced and it offers a persistent aftertaste

About us

Viñedos Urraca is located in Mendoza's major wine region, at the foot of the Andes Mountains, at 950 meters above sea level, with wide temperature range. After a complex grape ripening process, Urraca wines achieve the perfection level that is then translated into unique blends, full of sensations.

The winery building is currently in its design phase. The project's premises, of marked regionalist features, seek to integrate Old World tradition with state-of-the-art technology.

The winery will have a production capacity of 800 thousand liters. For the completion of the final project, Viñedos Urraca will invest over 5 million dollars in upcoming years.
