About us

The Rutini Winemaking heritage began in the 19th century in Le Marche, Italy, where Francisco Rutini started making wines. His son Felipe Rutini immigrated to America to extend this winemaking tradition. It was in 1885, in Coquimbito, Maipú, in the province of Mendoza, Argentina where he planted his first vines, thus starting the history of Rutini Wines. In 1925, the Rutini Family was pioneer in planting vineyards in the heart of the Uco Valley, in Tupungato, and innovative regarding the winemaking processes and techniques, enabling the winery to have a steady growth along its history.

In 2008, the company started to build a new winery in the Uco Valley. There, it makes all its different wine lines (Felipe Rutini, Apartado, Antologías, Encuentro, Colección Rutini and Trumpeter). Focused on producing super premium wines, the winery boasts state-of-the-art installations and equipment. Its total production capacity amounts to around 7 million liters. Technologically, it is considered one of the Uco Valley’s most advanced winery and with the greatest capacity.

Thanks to its long tradition, experience and passion, together with its constant growth, Rutini Wines is recognized as one of the most successful and prestigious brands.
