Piattelli Trinita 2009

Grape variety: Malbec 60% - Cabernet Sauvignon 25% - Merlot 15%
Sight: intense maroon-red color with violet tints
Nose: it offers aromas of fruits such as raspberry, cherry and plum, characteristic of the varietals that make up this blend. Besides, black pepper and clove are also present on the nose, as well as chocolate and vanilla notes, contributed by its oak aging
Mouth: on the palate, it is perceived as a balanced, full-bodied and persistent wine

Piattelli Grand Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2007

Grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon 85% - Malbec 15%
Sight: Intense deep red color
Nose: In the nose, it displays red and black fruits aromas such as strawberries, cherries and cassis, combined with notes of chocolate and smoke.
Mouth: In the mouth, this wine has great body, balanced tannins and a lingering finish.

Piattelli Grand Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

Grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon 100%
Sight: intense deep red color
Nose: it displays aromas of red and black fruits, such as strawberries, cherries and cassis, with notes of chocolate and smoke
Mouth: in the mouth, it is a full-bodied wine with balanced tannins and long finish

About us

Jon Malinski, Piattelli Vineyards´ American owner, visited Argentina for the first time in 2002. He fell in love with Mendoza, where he bought the vineyard situated in Cobos Street and started to produce high quality wines. In 2004, the winery was built fulfilling Malinski`s dream and in 2009, Piattelli Vineyards opened its doors to the public.
Even though the winery's style reflects the past, the combination of traditional methods and state-of-the-art technology aims at making high quality wines. The winemaking process of wines is focused on a great care of grapes as well as a complete control of every vinification stage. Until the optimum maturity level is reached, the wines rest in French and American oak barrels in the underground cellar. The concept that guides Piattelli wines is the one of "organic production", conceived by a combination of soil nourished only with natural manure and a
severe winter pruning limiting the yield. The process grants its wines a great concentration of aromas and flavors.
