Finca La Chamiza was awarded in these contests for its wines Legend of Polo 2012 and Martín Alsina 2011. The first one received a Gold Medal at the Argentina Wine Awards and Decanter World Wine Awards, whereas the second label reached a Silver Medal at both competitions.
In the last edition of the Argentina Wine Awards, the contest organized by Wines of Argentina and COVIAR (Argentine Wine Corporation), Finca La Chamiza’s Polo Porfesional 2012 obtained a Gold medal. Sight: Deep red with violet hues and crimson glints.
Nose: Fresh red fruits like berries, strawberries and cherries combined with clove and smoke. Vanilla and toasts aromas from the oak.
Mouth: Presence and strong personality. Soft and exquisite tannins. Impetuous and pleasant ending.
Sight: Bright carmine red.
Nose: Plum and raspberry aroma mingle elegantly with vanilla notes from the oak.
Mouth: Well-balanced, exhibits sweet tannins and a velvety finish.
Sight: Garnet red with bluish tints.
Nose: Perfectly ripe red fruits. A great range of aromas from the oak are appreciable too: vanilla, smoke, toast and spices.
Mouth: Concentrated, expressive and, appetising. Silky tannins make way for a flood of sensations on the palate ending long and convincing.
