Cruz de Piedra awarded by Tanzer

Stephen Tanzer, besides being an important reference for American wine lovers, is editor and publisher of the acclaimed International Wine Cellar, which is read in 50 states and 34 other countries. During 2010, Tanzer tasted hundreds of wines, which included Cruz de Piedra winery. This time, Cruz de Piedra Malbec Umbral de los Tiempos Reserve Mendoza 2007 received 88 points with a value of AR$ 16. Tanzer highlighted the wine as follows: “Bright ruby-red. Very ripe aroma of chocolate-covered plum, redcurrant, mocha and spicy oak. Broad, supple and savory, with solid structure and decent energy for such a ripe wine. The broad finish features a fine dusting of tannins.”
