About Altos Las Hormigas

Altos Las Hormigas envisions a terroir in Argentina. Malbec specialists since 1995, well-known Tuscan winemaker Alberto Antonini,  Antonio Morescalchi, a young entrepreneur and the whole “Team of Ants” – as they call themselves, understand that outstanding wine can only stem from an outstanding soil.

Working closely with terroir expert Pedro Parra, they have been digging and probing in every corner of Mendoza, searching for parcels like some would hunt a treasure. Using advanced techniques of macrozoning and microzoning, they are committed to capturing the quintessence of Mendoza’s character and terroir and reveal it through their wines.
