The people behind this project are all wine lovers that decided one day (over a few bottles of wine) to make a dream come true by making iconic wines together.
The label features the fingerprints and signatures of all the owners. The design goal was to convey a highly personal, hands-on project, undertaken by a group driven by passion and quality, friendships and for all facets of life.
Passion is in fact so central to the whole project that we decided to name our inaugural release “Alpasión,” a combination of the Spanish “alma” (for soul) and “pasión” (passion).
The design of the winery was done by Bórmida & Yanzón. We expect to start with the construction of the winery by the end of 2014. In the mean time our wines are being produced in the winery of our winemaker Karim Mussi.
Our Alpasión Malbec 2011 was awarded 90 Parker Points, a silver medal in the Argentinean Wine Awards 2013, and also made the top 100 Argentinean wines list of the magazine Cuisine & Vins. Alpasión is enjoyed amongst friends and by people who share our passion for life and good wine.
We are currently exporting Alpasión to Curacao, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, and India and are in the process of signing agreements with importers in USA, Sweden, UK and The Netherlands.
