About us

Two romantics -a winemaker (Alejandro Vigil) and a historian (Adrianna Catena)- go back in time to capture an era when European immigrants, recently settled in Argentina, sought to make wines as fine as or finer than those made in their homelands. By 1936, Malbec and Petit Verdot were the most widely planted grape varieties in Argentina, and the blend of both is considered the best one, in terms of elegance and aging potential.

The winery lies at the foothills of the Andes Mountains, in Mendoza. Its wine 'El Enemigo' (The Enemy) symbolizes the battle against oneself, the original enemy, the battle that defined each of this winery's owners. This wine is well-structured and concentrated; it is a blend that inspires and brings back good memories of the past, evoking historical and artisanal aspects of vine growing and winemaking.
