The winery received the distinction in “Guidelines for Development of Wine Tourism”.
During festivities celebrating International Tourism Day, national and provincial authorities convened to present 40 wineries with awards for offering high quality tourism activities. They also took part in signing a cooperation agreement drafted between the National Ministry of Tourism and the Vitivinicultural Corporation of Argentina.
“This distinction allows us to continue working—in the regulatory sense—with the Guidelines for Development of Wine Tourism established by the National Ministry of Tourism, providing meaningful experiences to those who visit our winery”, notes Rodrigo Lemos.
At the beginning of 2012, Trivento was one of the first wineries to successfully implement the Guidelines for Development of Wine Tourism in Mendoza. The guidelines deal with aspects key to tourism in the wineries, including wine tourism marketing; development of human capital, quality control development, use of space for visitors and more.
The guidelines also recommend specific lines of action that include using information and other tools oriented toward the tourist, to use natural and cultural resources sustainably, to make use of self-evaluations and to achieve certain management standards.
