Apart from the production of Torrontés and red varieties, the winery has focused on developing the tourism and gastronomy.
Piattelli Vineyards built its winery in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. Almost 10 years later, it opened an impressive building, in other privileged region for winemaking, Cafayate, Salta.
Moreover, Piattelli owns 193 hectares grown with Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, besides Torrontés.
The winery, apart from wine making, bets on tourism and gastronomy. For that purpose, Piattelli counts on Chef Facundo Belardinelli, who is in charge of designing a special menu using local products to pair with the winery’s wines, and thus offering a world-class gastronomic experience.
As regards tourism, Carolina Saguir, responsible for this area, maintained: “this region is growing a lot due not only to Torrontés but also to red wines”, and then added: “Piattelli is one of the first wineries in the region boasting restaurant.”
