Out of 121 wines that were tasted, Decanter Magazine granted 3 Decanter Awards and 16 received four stars in the Argentinian Malbec panel. “Our panel praised the younger, simpler, fruit-driven styles but were wary of the trend towards over-concentrating, over-oaking and over-using heavy bottles,” commented the prestigious magazine on June’s issue.
Domaine Bousquet received a Decanter Award (five stars) for their wine 2009 Domaine Jean Bousquet Grande Reserve from Uco Valley, Mendoza. Out of 20 points, the wine achieved 18.84.

Domaine Jean Bousquet, Grande Reserve, Uco Valley, Mendoza 2009
Complex and lifted aromatics of spice, leather, menthol and cassis. Good concentration of very attractive pure fruit and spicy oak. Has fine balance and weight and a long and satisfying finish. Real length and interest – excellent.
