On May 15, the Wine Bus will start rolling, a tourism transfer service with 4 departures a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) that will go through 12 wineries in Mendoza. The route includes two circuits: “El Sol” comprising the wineries: Tierras Altas, Filósofos, Clos de Chacras, Vistalba y Lagarde; and “Luján Sur”, including Chandon, Terrazas, Alpamanta, Dominio del Plata, Montequieto, Séptima, and Tapiz.

The project is developed by the firm “Bus Vitivinícola”, conducted by Claudia Yanzón (ex- Andesmar and Hotel Intercontinental) and Belén Olivera. The service will be operated by Cata, company that will provide new minibuses capable of carrying 28 people each. The route will have 9 stops in the City to pick the visitors up from the main hotels, and in Chacras de Coria Square, from where tourists staying at inns and hotels of this locality will be picked up. As a next step, the firm plans to include the circuits of Uco Valley, Maipú, and the Eastern Region. The sales of tickets will be carried out through the web site: www.busvitivinicola.com.
