Out of 36 awarded Argentine wines, 5 obtained double gold medals at this international wine contest hosted in the United States. This way, Argentina was in 3rd place, after United States and Canada, among the most award-winning countries.

Victorio Altieri among the 19 Malbec chosen by Decanter

The English magazine published the results of the Malbec panel in which 121 wines were tasted. The British praised the simpler and fruit-driven styles.
Victorio Altieri Gran Reserva of Vinorum winery obtained 18.75 points out of 20 and won a Decanter Award (5 stars).

The eighth edition of Vinus 2011, one of the world’s 15 top wine contests, ended up with 87 awards for Argentina. More than 36 first class judges and sommeliers tasted wines from 24 countries.
Vinorum received a gold medal (wines scored between 92-89 points) for its Vinorum Premium Malbec 2009.
