The new winery Trapiche was the ideal setting for Bodega Trapiche to launch the new icon wine “Manos 2004″, opening the silverwork exhibition called “Hacedores by Trapiche” in the presence of the press and special guests.
The protagonists of the exhibition are well known Argentinian designers and silversmiths, who use silver as raw material to transform it in unique pieces. Some of these artists are the Mendocinian María Augusta Meterle, Martha Artaza and Carlos Obregón.
In the exhibition performed in the room Adoquines, at Bodegas Trapiche, the visitors could see various pieces of art made with silver, from presidential staff to abstract works of art and pieces of jewellery.
Eduardo Fernández Lasnier, General Manager at Trapiche, explained that “the exhibition was thought as the most appropriate setting to let consumers know about the latest news on our high quality wines, since wines are like artists: the result of detailed work, knowledge, experience and pure creation.”
During the event, the last creation of Trapiche’s winemaker, Daniel Pi, was also launched. This is Manos, a Super Premium Malbec that will lead the winery’s high quality product portfolio, which is fully hand-made, from its harvest, cluster selection, stemming and grape by grape pressing.
Moreover, the following wines were tasted: Trapiche Malbec Single Vineyard 2005 (which in this new edition pays tribute to the producers Eleodoro Aciar, Francisco Olivé and Fausto Orellana), Trapiche Iscay, Trapiche Gran Medalla and Medalla, Trapiche Ciento Veinte Años, Profuso, Fond de Cave Gran Reserva, Fond de Cave Nature and the full line of Fond de Cave Reserva.
