25 Argentine wineries to the Vinexpo

The world’s most important wine and spirits fair takes place every two years in Bordeaux, France, gathering, during 5 days, over 2,500 expositors and almost 48,000 visitors.

From June 14 to 18, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship and Fundación Exportar, 25 Argentine wineries will present more than 250 labels at Vinexpo, at the Wines of Argentina stand.

Wines of Argentina, the entity responsible for the image of Argentine wines in the world, will present “The AWA Bar“, to showcase the winners of the Argentina Wine Awards, contest organized by this entity and the Argentine Wine Corporation (COVIAR ), to strengthen the positioning of the “Vino Argentino” brand worldwide. There, visitors will have the chance of tasting the award-winning wines of the 2015 edition.

Besides, the Argentine Embassy in France, with the support of Wines of Argentina, will offer a seminar to the press and trade called “Making wine at the Top of the World”. In it, Jean Guillaume Prats (Moët Hennessy CEO) will talk about the investments in the industry and the different wine regions of Argentina.

Since 1981, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bordeaux, France, has been organizing this fair that gathers people from all over the globe. Although most of visitors come from France, Vinexpo is a fair of a global reach, being the ideal showcase to markets of Asia and North America.

In 2013, the fair received over 48,800 attendees, who visited the stands of 2,400 expositors. For this year’s edition, it is expected to gather more than 48,000 visitors from more than 120 countries. Besides each winery’s tastings and exhibition, Vinexpo organizes and carries out researches, symposiums, and conferences relevant to the sector.
